Lay the data and power cables so that they are not kinked, crushed or damaged. Check the connections regularly to ensure that they are tight.
Electrical safety:
Switch off the device and disconnect it from the power supply before installing or removing a hard drive. Avoid contact with the connection points to prevent short circuits.
