Install cables in areas that do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended temperature and load limits. Avoid laying cables in areas exposed to direct sunlight or near heat sources.

Electrical safety:

When installing cables, ensure that they are properly earthed to prevent electrical interference and damage to the connected devices. Avoid laying data cables and power cables in parallel to reduce signal interference.

Cleaning and maintenance:

Shields should be correctly earthed, especially for long cable runs.

Assembly and disassembly:

Lay cables so that they are not kinked, twisted or pulled over sharp edges. Observe the manufacturer's minimum bending radius. Secure the cables with cable ties or clips to avoid tripping hazards and ensure a tidy installation.

Handling:

Label cables to identify them easily, especially in complex network infrastructures. Use cable management systems to avoid confusion and mix-ups. Do not pull or overstretch the cables as this can damage the conductors inside. Adhere to the maximum pulling force and bending radii specified by the manufacturer. Use shielded cables (e.g. S/FTP cables) in environments with a high risk of electromagnetic interference.
