The HPE LPE1605 DualPort FC HBA offers outstanding value for money, top performance and a high data rate of up to 16 Gbit/s per port. The Type A mezzanine card has been specially developed for HPE c-Class blade servers and impresses with its compact design, efficiency and reliability. This makes the adapter ideal for memory-intensive applications such as database transactions, backup processes and virtualised workloads in demanding SAN environments. Thanks to its backward compatibility, the adapter can be used not only in modern, virtualised data centres, but also in 8Gb FC networks.
An HPE BladeSystem c7000 Platinum enclosure is required to enable a transfer rate of 16 Gb/s – other HPE BladeSystem c7000 chassis and HPE BladeSystem c3000 enclosures achieve a maximum speed of 8 Gb/s.
