Nothing at first – because we will send you a quote with all prices and possible services. This is non-binding and free of charge. In very rare cases, it is not possible to generate any value from the hardware. If this is the case, we will of course inform you transparently.
Lost & Found: Inventory reveals real hardware treasures

Between the Christmas rush and the end of the financial year, many companies also have to contend with inventory – an often tedious and sometimes quite time-consuming procedure, but one that regularly brings to light things that have been lost in the hustle and bustle of day-to-day business over the months. Between project plans, sales targets and to-do lists, IT assets suddenly appear that no one really had on their radar anymore.
Hardware that was purchased as part of a new investment but was then not needed; smartphones, tablets, PCs and notebooks that were intended for employees who no longer work for the company; rarely used presentation technology or cold spare backups in the form of CPUs, RAM modules or HDDs and SSDs that belonged to servers that have long since been replaced by new systems. The larger a company is, the more frequently IT is purchased or replaced – and the more can accumulate in the background.
The devices may be depreciated, but they lie unused in basements, cupboards or server rooms – and yet they are by no means worthless. On the contrary: now that an inventory was mandatory anyway, it often becomes clear how much capital is tied up in unused hardware. What at first glance appears to be ‘junk’ or ‘legacy equipment’ actually turns out to be a multiple gain: you create space, streamline processes, increase security and generate additional budget at the same time – without any extra effort for your own team.
The magic word: IT remarketing – simple, professional and secure
Professional remarketing means that your hardware is professionally evaluated, securely deleted and then reused or recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. This not only generates additional revenue, but also relieves your team, who no longer have to deal with dismantling the equipment, transporting it or deleting data.
Worried that you'll end up paying extra? We'd like to alleviate that concern right away: Of course, this is a service – data deletion, collection and dismantling don't happen by themselves. But thanks to our precise evaluation, the costs remain transparent for you at all times. Hardware that is simply too old to be reused is not reconditioned, but dismantled and then disposed of properly. Since we evaluate not only entire devices but also individual components, there is often still residual value to be found here. Defective or unusable hard drives and other storage media are not deleted but shredded in a cost-saving – and equally data-secure – manner. With over 20 years of experience in this industry, you can rest assured that we act not only economically, but also in your best interests – and approach every project with heart and mind.
Another major advantage for you: greater sustainability. No greenwashing, no sugarcoating, just a genuine competitive advantage that you can confidently communicate to the outside world. By recycling high-quality IT equipment, companies not only reduce electronic waste, but also conserve resources and act responsibly – without additional effort and without having to set up a large project. IT remarketing is simple. And it is not only an efficiency booster, but also an important contribution to modern, sustainable corporate management. The entire process is transparent for you, accessible at any time, secure and fully documented.
Our modular service concept: maximum added value, minimum effort

To turn unused hardware into new budget, you need a partner like us who can handle the entire process professionally, transparently and efficiently from a single source. From pricing and logistics to data deletion and refurbishment, everything is handled by our company. To this end, we have developed our modular service concept, which can be tailored precisely to your wishes and needs. Simply select the services you require – with no hidden costs, no internal effort, but with maximum security.
And don't hesitate to ask questions. You can easily send us your equipment lists using our purchase form – whether you have individual notebooks, components in bulk or entire data centres. The more detailed your information on models and equipment is, the more accurately we can evaluate the hardware. We always act fairly and base our prices on current market rates. If the hardware turns out to be ‘better’ than specified, we will of course revise our offer upwards. This is standard practice for us – because we always want to achieve the best possible market price for you.
No matter which services you choose, all processes are documented, audit-proof and tailored to the requirements of modern companies. This turns old hardware into a clean, safe and economical cycle.

Should I stay or should I go? The most frequently asked questions about IT remarketing
Do these devices still have any value? Isn't the hardware too old to sell? How much effort and expense is involved in hiring an IT remarketing company? What we repeatedly notice when ‘newbies’ contact us about IT recycling is uncertainty.
Whether it's about data deletion, the effort involved, responsibilities or actual proceeds. Some people even feel uncomfortable listing the devices because they suspect that they may be too old for recycling. Be proactive instead of cautious – we are happy to support you with your project. And even if the hardware is too old to be reused, certified disposal is always better than leaving the devices to gather dust in storage.
You want to set a good example and make a statement about environmental protection – great! To address any concerns in advance, we have put together a short FAQ for you:
The effort involved is extremely low: you send us your device list, we prepare a quote – and when the project starts, all that needs to be done is to coordinate dates (e.g. dismantling, collection, locations). We then take care of everything else: data deletion, recycling, disposal. You will receive feedback as soon as everything is complete.
No. We collect everything that is listed – and even more if additional old IT equipment turns up in the meantime. (Provided the lorry can handle it 😉 – otherwise we'll just come back again.) We also take care of dismantling the hardware, including removing cables.
Upon request, you will receive deletion logs for each device or data carrier. These lists all devices and, for example, SSDs/HDDs with serial numbers, including the deletion method and whether the deletion was successful. If a disk can no longer be deleted due to a defect, it will be shredded – you will also receive a destruction log for this.
Once you have sent us your purchase enquiry, we will evaluate the devices and components fairly and based on current market prices. This offer is, of course, non-binding and free of charge for you. If a project goes ahead, we will adjust the price even after the project has been completed – not only downwards if devices are missing or less well equipped, but also upwards if more has been delivered or the hardware is better than specified.
As all stages of refurbishment take place in our in-house technical centre, we can provide you with the current status of your project at any time. You will, of course, also receive complete documentation on your project.
This is our area of expertise: whether large quantities of components, office equipment or server, storage and network hardware – we not only process entire data centres, but also multiple locations.
That depends on the scope of the project and the services required. An order that only involves shipping, testing and evaluating 50 memory modules will naturally be completed more quickly than a project involving four data centres in different locations. We will keep you informed about all stages of the process and are available at any time should you have any questions. Payment will be made immediately after completion of the project.
Can we be honest? You only take a risk if you leave the equipment in your warehouse or basement or dispose of it on your own initiative. Not only does hardware lose value year after year, but data deletion is also a high risk if it is not carried out by experienced service providers. Using a hammer on HDDs or simply taking devices to the recycling centre is not a sensible solution.
Unless you have expressed any specific wishes in this regard, economically viable hardware will be put back on sale. We have a global network of dealers, corporate customers and an online shop through which the devices are marketed and fed into the circular economy. Defective devices are disposed of in a certified manner. On request, devices can also be sold to your employees, donated or sold on a revenue-sharing basis.
Conclusion: No risk, only advantages – and a clear step towards the future
In the end, it remains to be said that those who market their old hardware professionally can only win – even if individual devices no longer have any resale value, your company will still benefit. You dispose of your IT assets in a data-secure, resource-saving and sustainable manner, demonstrate responsibility towards the environment, generate valuable additional revenue in the best case scenario, and set a good example.
IT remarketing is therefore not a ‘nice-to-have’, but an economically sensible decision that streamlines processes, minimises risks and frees up new resources. Right now, at the start of a new year, is the perfect time to turn unused hardware into real added value – while making high-quality professional equipment accessible to smaller businesses and start-ups.
If you would like to know how much budget is tied up in your assets, we look forward to hearing from you.
