Buy cheap PCs in top quality online at serverando.de

office landscape

Are you looking for a computer for your home or a PC for your home office? Or do you want to equip your employees' workstations cost-effectively, but don't want to do without high-quality and efficient hardware? Then opt for refurbished hardware when buying your PC. Used computers are not only cheaper than new devices, but by using refurbished hardware you are also making a valuable contribution to our environment.

Professionally refurbished devices from experienced IT remarketing companies like us are as good as new - because the computers are usually high-performance business hardware from well-known manufacturers that have been designed for long-term use. The PCs from DELL, HP, Lenovo or Fujitsu stand for high quality, reliability and durability, but are usually taken out of service by large companies after the leasing period of two to three years. The devices are state-of-the-art and are more than sufficient for most smaller companies (SMEs) and, above all, for private users.

With our efforts and our modular IT remarketing concept, not only PCs but also notebooks, servers, storage and network components are given a second life. That's why you'll find a wide and deep range of high-quality second-hand hardware in our hardware shop, which has been expertly put through its paces to ensure that only flawless products are put back on sale.

So if you want to buy a good value PC, then we're the right place for you. Our selection of refurbished computers offers you the perfect combination of price, performance and sustainability. And you don't have to compromise on quality or performance. After all, buying a used computer can be compared to buying a used car - just like cars, depreciation is highest after the first year, and PCs also lose value quickly once they have been in use. Instead of opting for expensive new goods, you can cleverly avoid this loss in value and thus not only protect your wallet, but also our environment.

Whether desktop or tower - we have PCs to meet your exact requirements

The biggest advantage that used PCs have over new is definitely the price. When you buy refurbished hardware, you get a high-quality computer at a fraction of the price of a new one - which also means that you can get more performance and a specification that exactly matches your requirements for the same budget. In addition, used PCs have already been used reliably and have therefore proven themselves in practice - production errors can therefore be ruled out.

With a used desktop or tower, you have the opportunity to acquire high-quality technology at an affordable price. No matter which model or design you have in mind, our large selection is sure to have the right one for you.

First of all, you should think about where and what you want to use the new computer for. Do you need it as a central point in the company, e.g. as a workstation where several employees can log in and where things can sometimes get ‘rough’ - in other words, do you need a particularly robust PC? Then you should opt for an industrial PC that is resistant to dust, dirt and vibrations and also works reliably at higher or lower temperatures. These are often also characterised by optimised energy consumption, even in 24/7 operation, as well as optimal connectivity, expansion options and durability.

If, on the other hand, you are looking for a computer for your home office or to equip the office workstations in your company, other factors play an important role. For example, compact, space-saving PCs that are characterised by quiet fans, user-friendliness and efficiency usually come into question. PCs with low power consumption that provide a quiet working environment and take up little space are particularly in demand for home workstations.

Mini PCs

Mini PCs

Of course, different designs can also be considered for this purpose. Mini PCs (also referred to as USFF PCs or Tiny PCs by various manufacturers) are particularly suitable for workstations where space is limited. Common business models include the HP EliteDesk 800 G3, the Lenovo ThinkCentre M710 Tiny or the DELL OptiPlex 3050 Mini-PC. They are characterised by an ultra-compact housing that is often no larger than a standard paperback book. Despite this extremely small design, the PCs in mini format impress with their outstanding performance, security and optimum connectivity to peripheral devices. The systems are characterised by low power consumption, virtually silent operation and absolute flexibility.

SFF desktop PCs

SFF desktop PCs

The SFF desktop PCs, such as the DELL OptiPlex 7070 SFF, the HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF or the Lenovo M70s SFF, are a little larger. SFF stands for ‘Small Form Factor’ - in other words, a very compact design that saves a lot of desk space. They are characterised by slightly better but still limited expansion options, offer a solid price-performance ratio and are particularly suitable for use in the office, e.g. for office applications. Access to the components is often effortless, which makes the devices very easy to maintain and use.In addition to quiet operation, SFF PCs also impress with their energy efficienc, connectivity, versatility and robustness. They are ideal for small offices, private users or for the home office.

Desktop PC

Desktop PC

If you want to strike a balance between compactness and expandability, you should opt for a standard desktop PC. Well-known models here are the DELL OptiPlex 7020 or the Fujitsu Esprimo D756. These are considerably smaller than the tower variants, but larger than USFF or SFF models. They can usually be easily optimised and offer space for additional drives or cards. The ‘normal’ desktop PCs are usually very affordable, offer excellent value for money and are versatile, e.g. for office and multimedia applications. They impress with their high level of user-friendliness, sufficient space for fans and heat sinks and are also very easy to maintain thanks to the easy access to components. The design of the case is characterised not only by its robustness, but also by the many ports, i.e. connection options for peripheral devices.

Tower PC

Tower PC

Those who prefer a solid computer that offers plenty of space for components will opt for a tower PC, such as the Fujitsu Esprimo P558 or the P420 series, the HP ProDesk 600 or the EliteDesk 800 series. However, there are also different variants that offer different advantages, similar to desktop PCs. Business PCs are usually offered as midi or big towers. Gaming PCs, on the other hand, vary from Mini-ITX (SFF) to Mini-Tower, Midi-Tower and Big-Tower. In addition to the case height and width, the variants also differ in terms of the number of graphics card slots, PCIe slots, case fans and the number and design of the drive bays (3.5 inch or 2.5 inch). For many people, expandability is an important reason for choosing a tower PC. Demanding users would like to be able to upgrade and expand their PC on a modular basis, require powerful devices (e.g. for gaming or graphics processing) and effective cooling with several fans. Tower-shaped computers are characterised by their durability, robust construction and easy access to components for maintenance.

Workstation

Workstation

Absolute high-performance computers can be found under the term ‘workstation’. The DELL Precision series, the Z series from HP and the ThinkStation series from Lenovo or the Celsius system from Fujitsu are very well known for this. They are characterised by high reliability, exceptional power, performance and advanced security features. Some of the components originate from the server sector; one or more multi-core processors for parallel processing, high-end graphics cards and redundancy (e.g. dual power supply options for fail-safe operation) are also found in these devices. The ‘most common’ workstation form is the big tower - however, these devices are also available for larger offices in 19’ format and for rack installation, for example. For those who need powerful hardware and high-end components in a mobile format, there are even mobile workstations, i.e. notebooks, which are characterised not only by their portability and robustness, but above all by their high-quality displays with high resolution, expandability and high performance.

All-in-one System (AiO)

All-in-one System (AiO)

In addition to these extremely powerful options, one model in particular has become more and more established in recent years and is now extremely popular: the all-in-one system. This is either a combination of mini PC and monitor (such as the Lenovo ThinkCentre M710q AiO) or a device that combines screen and computer in one device (e.g. Apple iMac). Both elegant and sometimes somewhat futuristic designs are used, which are visually appealing and also extremely space-saving. AiO systems are particularly impressive due to their quick set-up - only a few cables need to be connected and the devices are easy to install.Manufacturers often also use touchscreen functionality and integrated cameras, e.g. for video calls. The powerful devices are not only ideal for the office or home office, but also serve many multimedia functions, e.g. for chatting with friends via video calls, streaming or general entertainment.

Buy used PCs cheap online: Easy on your IT budget and the environment

You now have a rough overview of the possible designs. But now the question arises: How much does a good PC cost? Unfortunately, you can't generalise directly here - because it depends on both the type of housing and the equipment. And of course, new equipment differs greatly from the much cheaper used equipment. While new entry-level devices are available for between 300 and 500 euros, there are already PCs for less than 100 euros on the second-hand market. Standard office PCs vary between 500 and 800 euros (new price) and 200 to 500 euros on the second-hand market. However, if you are smart, you can avoid the loss in value and opt for sustainability as well as tried and tested, reliable hardware.

Another advantage of remanufactured hardware is that it is immediately available and can be selected exactly as required. On the second-hand market, you may find models that are no longer available new but are much better tailored to your requirements. Not only are the devices themselves cheaper, but also any components with which the PC can be expanded and upgraded exactly as required.

Home office

Perhaps you are now asking yourself: What should a good PC have? Here, too, it depends on your personal requirements and how the computer is to be used. Powerful professional devices should have a fast CPU (e.g. Intel Core i5 / i7), ideally 16 GB or more RAM for smooth working, an SSD for fast booting and optionally an additional HDD for more storage space. However, if you only need your PC for simple applications, i.e. for surfing the internet, looking at pictures and videos or simple writing and office work, you can also opt for slightly older models that offer good value for money. Models with an i3 CPU and 8 GB RAM are also sufficient here. However, we definitely recommend an SSD so that programmes and applications can be loaded quickly.

It also doesn't hurt to take a look at the connection and expansion options. Are there enough USB ports, are there audio connections, HDMI or DisplayPorts and which and how many expansion slots are available for future upgrades? Think future-orientated here too, so that you can enjoy your PC for a long time. In addition to the equipment, warranty extensions also offer a certain degree of security, and you are prepared ‘just in case’. Our ‘Serverando blue warranty’ includes special service contracts for PCs and notebooks for 12 or 24 months so that you can send in your hardware for repair. You can find more information on our warranty page.

If you're still wondering: Why should you opt for used hardware? Used PCs, notebooks, servers and network components that have been refurbished by experienced IT remarketing companies offer a clever and sustainable solution to new goods. This is because you get high-quality technology at realisable prices - even for SMEs and private individuals. The devices have been thoroughly cleaned and tested and can be used reliably for years to come. This not only saves you money on your IT budget, but also makes a valuable contribution to our environment. Less new production saves resources, reduces CO₂ emissions and - by using used devices - reduces the disposal rate. Used hardware is therefore a clever alternative for companies as well as educational institutions, municipalities, administrations and, of course, private users who are looking for cost-efficient solutions without having to compromise on quality.
