Only connect the hard drive to the power and data connections provided by the manufacturer. Avoid contact with open or damaged cables.

Transport and storage:

Store hard drives in anti-static protective packaging when they are not in use. Transport the hard drive in shockproof packaging to protect the internal components.

Waste disposal:

Delete sensitive data by securely overwriting or physically destroying the hard drive before it is disposed of. Dispose of the hard drive in accordance with local regulations for electronic waste.
